Keep Damascus knives filmed with wax/oil to prevent rust, and occasional drop of light oil at each joint will assure smooth blade action in opening and closing.

I collect reproduction Bowie Knives. This one is one for display. It bears a very strong resemblance to the knife that was created by Warner Brothers for the 1952 film, “The Iron Mistress”. The sheath is stitched and made from leather and the dimensions of the knife appear to be correct as advertised. I requested my initials to be put on the brass affixed to the handle. It was professionally done to my satisfaction. Now, the big question remains, “was this knife worth $100.00 on sale?”. NO. It is worth far more and the regular price of $199.99 is well within the price range of the other knives I’ve collected. This knife is a very good copy of the Bowie Knife featured in the film. Highly recommended.
